Erik Hall, Jonny Allen of Sandbox Percussion, and Andrew Cyr met in the WNYC studio to tell the story of Canto Ostinato — a momentous collaboration — and of Erik Hall’s singular studio and recording practice. They were then joined by the rest of Sandbox Percussion and by Henry Wang and David Leon of Metropolis Ensemble for an exclusive live in-studio performance of Canto Ostinato, Sections 1–84.
