METROPOLIS ENSEMBLE PRESENTS
Crisis Music
A 4-concert series with composer Patrick Higgins
The Crisis Music series is a program of curated works by Patrick Higgins, situating challenging new music alongside surprising historical works. These concerts each in their way suggest and engage a moment of crisis - climate collapse, ethical atonement, lost time, social confusion - ultimately offering no answer, but affirming the positive ritual value of performance practice in situ.
