Caroline Rose is on tour supporting last year’s The Art of Forgetting, and they just wrapped up a few of special shows where they were joined by players from Metropolis Ensemble for an orchestral set. We caught the NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on Friday night (the other two orchestral dates were at Northampton, MA’s Bombyx earlier this month). They played much of the new album, along with a few songs each from 2020’s Superstar and 2018’s Loner, and for the encore, Caroline brought out Cassandra Jenkins and Joanna Sternberg to join them on “Everywhere I Go I Bring the Rain” and “Where Do I Go From Here?” Watch attendee-taken video of those songs below.
