World premiere of The Rite: Remixed. Also on the program, Ricardo Romaneiro's Synthetic Mosaic: II featuring pianist Ola Gjeilo, and Two-Part Belief featuring soprano Hila Plitmann and poetry by Christopher Cahill. Be the first to enjoy LPR, the city's newest music venue.

Wordless Music Series pairs Metropolis Ensemble and indie sensation Deerhoof for a night of music under the stars. Experience The Rite: Remixed and Two-Part Belief with an expected audience of 10,000 at Celebrate Brooklyn. Also featuring soprano Hila Plitmann.

About the Concert

Metropolis Ensemble led by Artistic Director / Conductor Andrew Cyr presents the world premiere of The Rite: Remixed, a collaboration between three composers and electronics producers that explodes the boundaries of live electro-classical music. Ricardo Romaneiro, Ryan Francis, and Leo Leite re-conceptualize Stravinsky's revolutionary The Rite of Spring in a ground-breaking live remix!

Metropolis Ensemble and The Rite: Remixed appear as part of Celebrate Brooklyn and the Wordless Music Series.
